How to write banging blog posts

Behind every project is a great story, it’s time to tell yours.

You’ve made it! You’ve set up your project page on Semble and now it’s time to share your story with the whole Semble community and the rest of the world!

Here are 3 simple steps to making your blog posts fun and engaging:

1. A picture is worth a thousand words

We love seeing the faces behind your amazing project. Grab a few snaps of your team or of the event that you’re writing about and add them to your blog. Be as creative as you like and show everyone the great work that you’re doing!

2. Shout about yourself

Don’t be afraid to tell everyone about your goals, efforts and successes. What does your project hope to achieve? What are you doing to reach your objectives? Tell us about your victories, no matter how big or small. Now is the time to toot your own horn!

3. Apply the KISS principle

Keep It Short and Simple! A paragraph or two will do, and don’t forget the photos. Holding your readers’ attention in the day and age of the internet is not an easy task. A handy tip is to read your blog out loud and hear how it comes across to your readers. If it feels like you’re explaining things too slowly or you get bored by your own voice (gasp!), then you’ll know to shorten and simplify.

We hope these tips have been helpful and can’t wait to read your banging blogs. Now go and proudly tell your story!
