The second #Greggs4Good Photo Competition of 2019 Winner Announced!

Thank you to all the brilliant #Greggs4Good projects who took the time to participate in the latest photo competition. It has been lovely to read your updates and see photos of the great work you are doing – we hope you have enjoyed it too! The team at Greggs Foundation have found it incredibly inspiring to learn more about your projects and to gain a better understanding of the impact of your work.

After a great deal of deliberation we are delighted to announce that the winning entry is by People Speak Up – who receive an extra £250 towards their project. People Speak Up’s Be-Friending project supports older people that are feeling lonely or isolated. Their winning photo is of ‘Larry the Legend’,  to find out more about Larry’s story and how People Speak Up have been helping him, visit their blog here

It was incredibly difficult to choose a winner and a special mention should go to Music 4 Wellbeing and Deaf Services Lanarkshire whose wonderful photos give a real sense of bringing the community together. There were many other photos which we were blown away by but unfortunately too many to mention!

If you weren’t successful this time don’t worry, you’ll have another opportunity to enter and possibly get your hands on a £250 prize for your project. Keep updating your Semble project pages and keep an eye out for the next competition announcement… coming soon!
