    This is an introductory course for those wishing to find out more about Forest School ethos or those who are assisting  a Forest School Leader.

    This course enables you to assist at Forest School not lead Forest School sessions. This course is portfolio based and usually takes 6 months to complete.

    This course covers four Units of Study at Level 2 and looks in more depth at practical skills, using the woodland as a sustainable resource and the theoretical side of planning for learning and play at Forest School. These Units are:

    • Supporting Learning, Play and Development in the Outdoors
    • Sustainable Use of Natural Resources
    • Outdoor Practical Skills
    • Assist at Forest School
