Sir Robert McAlpine is a leading UK building and civil engineering company and is strongly committed to making a meaningful contribution to society.
The Strong Foundations Grant is offering up to £3,000 as well as corporate volunteers to help grassroots initiatives around central Manchester and Salford.
Groups that work on increasing community cohesion and boosting community wellbeing in the area are welcome to apply!
How it works
What’s on offer? £30,000 worth of grants are available. Projects can apply for funding of up to £3,000 each.
When to apply? By midnight on Sunday 1st March.
Who can apply? The fund is open to new and existing projects. These can be: Informal and formal community groups, local charities and local branches of national charities, schools and educational organisations, not-for-profit organisations, and social enterprises.
Location criteria – which projects qualify? The target area includes the following Manchester and Salford postcodes: M1, M15, M2, M3, M4, M5, M50 and M6. Applications received within this area will be given priority, HOWEVER applications close to this location will also be considered.
