The project makes provision for 4 coach trips (Spring/Summer/Autumn) and two meals (Summer and Winter)

The second meal (Winter) and final event of the project for 2019 took place on Saturday 7th December 2019 at the regular meeting point for the club at the local village hall known as Llansilin Memorial Hall with 42 people in attendance.

The event was particularly special for those attending since as well as a hot Christmas meal of turkey and trimmings it also coincided with the 45th anniversary of the founding of Llansilin Over 60 Club. Three of the original founding committee were present at the event enjoying the social fellowship they had helped to create. Entertainment was provided by a young Welsh harpist in traditional Welsh costume and who also demonstrated her Welsh clog dancing talents with accordion accompaniment to the delight of all those present

The following pictures show club members experiencing the event.
