The Bishop’s Palace vegetable plot in the morning light.

We hope you are all keeping well. September is always a busy month harvesting and enjoying the spoils of everyones hard work over the summer, but this year has been amazing. Even as we approach the end of the month there is still so much to pick. The tomatoes have been wonderful and thankfully they have managed to avoid the wretched blight, the chard is beginning to crop well and there’s been a great harvest of apples just picked from the orchards.

A new variety of cucumber we tried this year has thankfully been a success and the pears are finally ready to start picking. None of this would be possible without our brilliant volunteers who have worked so hard over the summer to make the garden produce such a success this year – thank you!

With the new relaxing of restrictions we are now able to run our normal gardening sessions again. Please contact us to book a session as all sessions must currently be booked in advance, thank you.

Regular gardening sessions –  please contact us for availability.
