Beans harvested at the Bishop’s Palace vegetable plot.

We hope you are all keeping well. We have a serious battle on our hands against the slugs and snails after all the recent wet weather, but this has not hindered some wonderful harvests over the past few weeks. We’ve dug up buckets of potatoes and the peas and beans have been plentiful and just keep coming!

The borders at The Bishop’s Palace Garden vegetable plot continue to look stunning, with the crocosmia injecting some vibrant colour amongst the foliage and buddlias attracting all sorts of butterflies.

The soft fruit has been great this year, with punnets of raspberries and blackcurrants picked and turned into delicious jams.

With the new relaxing of restrictions we are now able to run our normal gardening sessions again. Please contact us to book a session as all sessions must currently be booked in advance, thank you.
