Llansilin Over 60 Club provides a meeting point for the elderly of the community. The majority of club members are single and live alone in an isolated rural community. Whilst many of the regular club activities are of a social nature their value to the elderly of the community is enhanced due to the lack of public transport. The committee feels strongly that the club provides a very valuable service to the elderly of the community and there by enhances their quality of life.

The project makes provision for 4 coach trips (Spring/Summer/Autumn) and two meals (Summer and Winter).

The fourth and final coach trip of the year on Tuesday 16th October 2019, starting and finishing at home in Llansilin at 10am and 6pm respectively. There where 29 people participating in a trip to the Tweed Mill Shopping Centre, St. Asaph, Denbighshire at the gateway to North Wales to a total shopping experience with multiple quality brand names, café, coffee shop and farm shop all under one roof. This was very convenient for club members especially those with limited mobility and so was an experience much more than shopping.

The following pictures show club members experiencing the many products available at the centre with the bottom RH picture showing club members boarding the bus for the journey home following a very enjoyable day trip to the St. Asaph Tweed Mill Shopping Centre.
