No two days are the same here at New Horizon Youth Centre, we have to adapt quickly to find innovative solutions to the most complex and multi-faceted problems.  Our kitchen is at the heart of what we do – serving a hot, healthy and delicious meal to up to 60 vulnerable young people every day (while working to a tight budget) is not easy but is, quite literally, a lifeline for the many young people we support.  We were delighted to welcome an amazing organisation called Feast this week.  Feast are the clever people who transform the food donated by local supermarkets into a wonderful spread for our young people.  They cook the food themselves in our kitchen and then serve it to our young people.  We are delighted that they will be doing this every  Tuesday for 10 weeks.  What a treat! Thanks again to the Regent’s Place Community Fund for supporting our Catering Project and allowing organisations such as Feast to help us reduce catering and staff costs.
