In the last 6 months, we have supported 5 families with babies and young children in the Regent Park area.  Families have been matched with one of our trained volunteers  who  has been visiting the family in their home for 3 hours each week offering practical and emotional support.  This can range from having a cup of tea and a chat; playing with the children; to help getting out and about to activities and appointments.

Our coordinator Anna Frances (pictured  in the middle of the photograph with two of her Camden families) has been busy promoting our service  around the area so we can support more families. In February,  she visited Regent Park Children’s Centre  and met with local Family Support Workers and Health Visitors. She has also visited local GP’s and The Francis Crick Centre.

In April, we invited all the families we support and the volunteers to a party at Kentish Town City Farm.  Everyone had a great time.
