All pupils get an opportunity to harvest their school grown vegetables, wash, peel and chop them before making them into two delicious soups. This wonderful event is shared with family and friends who have been invited into school to join their children. During the day, they produce a collaborative piece of work entitled “Friendship Soup” where they consider the important ingredients for healthy relationships, such as a spoonful of patience,  and construct a recipe for others to follow.

This is the last session of our “seed to plate ” project and it has been amazing. We have worked with over 150 children, made 1000 pizzas and eaten ALOT of vegetables. Feedback has been incredible and we have our fingers crossed for successful funding applications for 2020.

Thank you to our 2019 funders Greggs, Gower Power and the Ernest Cook Trust.
